We have been busy in the last few days putting the finishing touches to our online showcase of OWN INDUSTRIES work – OWN:G. Over at clutterlovers we have written a pretty exhaustive review of the whole shebang detailing the thought-process and work that went into the OWN:G showcase. OWN:G is built using our own custom child theme owng-0.1

The child theme is based on the ninja-like theme framework thematic 0.9.5.1 masterminded by Ian Stewart.

OWN:G makes heavy use of  the following WordPress Extenders

cformsII by Oliver Siedel …powerful and simple form creation (for dummies like us)

NextGEN Gallery by Alex Rabe …if you only install one plugin it should be this one

WP Super Cache by Donncha O Caoimh …fast, faster, WP Super Cache!

GD Press Tools by Milan Petrovic … no more scruffy SQL tables and database overheads plus a heap of cool tweaks for your WP Dashboard.
